10 mln ton-level oil refinery kicked off in East China's Qingdao

Qingdao broke ground on June 22 for an oil refinery of 10 million ton capacity, the first of its kind of China in the new century.

The first-stage project will produce an annual processing capacity of 10 million tons of crude oil, with an output of 7.6 million tons of finished oil products and 1 million tons of light oil for chemical industry. All the products will reach Europe III standard.
