Fiji PM leaves Beijing for Qingdao

Fiji Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase left Beijing Sunday for a visit to Qingdao, a coastal city of east China's Shandong Province.

During his stay in Beijing, Chinese President Hu Jintao met with him and the two sides vowed to further bilateral relations.

Laisenia Qarase started a working visit to China on Saturday. He will be back to Beijing to attend a ceremony marking the 30th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
