10 killed in road accident in central Pakistan
font size

At least 10 persons were killed and 28 others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a tractor trolley in central Pakistan on Sunday, police said.

The bus crashed into the trolley coming from the opposite side while it was passing another bus near Rafiqabad, a village about 160 km northwest of Multan, a major city in Punjab province.

The injured were rushed to nearby hospitals.

Fatal road accidents are common in Pakistan and many happen due to lack of the sense of security and widespread negligence of traffic rules.
