    Special education school in Lhasa

    At the end of 2000 a special education school with a government investment of 4.5 million yuan was unveiled in Lhasa. At the beginning it had only three students. Five years have passed and the Tibet's only comprehensive special education school has had eight classes for the deaf, one for the vision-impaired, 120 handicapped students and 18 professional teachers.
