No third round of experiments on split share structure: CSRC chairman
font size

China would not launch the third round of experiments on split the share structure, said Shang Fulin, chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission ( CSRC), on Monday.

The pilot program would not last "too long" and full preparations should be made to deal with complexities in the experiment, said Shang at Monday's press conference.

China would seek for "basic solutions" to problems of the capital market within a short period and relevant policy studies are under way, said Shang.

China launched the first round of experiment on non-tradable shares on May 9 with four companies selected and the second round with 42 companies selected on June 20.
