Death toll of floods totals 607 across China

Till 16:00 June 27, a total of 21,474,000 people have been affected by floods in south China's Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangxi, Hunan, Guangdong and Guangxi -- six provinces and autonomous regions. 164 died and 68 got missing. 1, 873, 000 people were displaced under emergency. Flood disasters have incurred 17.39 billion yuan worth of direct economic losses, according to Chinese Ministry of Civil Affairs.

Since 2005, the death toll of floods and following secondary damages has amounted to 607. Moreover, 184 people have got missing and 2,864,000 homeless. Direct economic looses totaled 27.17 billion yuan.
