To borrow experience in military education and management and enhance Chinese military academies' educational quality, the presidents of the military academies of the People's Liberation Army
(PLA), faculties and students with the National Defense University held face-to-face exchanges with presidents of foreign military academies at the National Defense University in
Beijing from June 13 to June 17.
Presidents and experts from foreign military academies including Lieutenant General William Lennox, Jr., superintendent of the United States Military Academy at West Point, and Lieutenant General John Kiszeley, director of the Royal United Services institute for Defense and Security Studies etc. gave 10 lectures on fostering troops commanders in an information age and command of joint operations and staff officers.
Presidents of Chinese military academies had face-to-face exchanges with their foreign colleagues in pattern of talents fostering, structure of curriculum, cadets elimination system as well as guarantee of equipment and funds.
