Israel has decided to satisfy all requests by the United States over its arms sales to China, so that it can put the dispute with the US over arms export to an end, according to Israeli newspaper Ha'aretz report on June 26, 2005.

This means Israel will not only halt its arms trade with China that had been agreed upon previously, but also will further tighten its control on arms sales to China.

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz said last week that they will cancel the ongoing deal of unmanned aerial vehicles with China and beef up supervision on arms export at the request of the US, according to which, Israel will not return the standby parts of Harpy unmanned aerial vehicles that China had delivered to Israel for repair previously.
