font size

China has always supported and kept its close eye on the nuclear issue negotiations between Iran and European Union (EU), expressing the hope that the two sides would reach a long-term solution to the issue soon, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao said in Beijing on June 28.

Liu said at a routine press conference that China has noticed some consensus reached between Iran and the EU, which includes the bilateral commitments to properly address the concerns of the two sides through negotiations.

China appreciates the constructive attitude and diplomatic efforts made by the two sides, which will serve the common interests of the international community, Liu said.
