33 foreigners apply for 25 senior posts in central enterprises

The registration for the recruitment of 25 senior operation and management posts has ended, according to the organizer, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council, on June 27, 2005.

The recruitment was open to applicants both at home and abroad.

1,207 people applied for the 25 posts, among them, 98 applied for two general managers (presidents of academies), 603 signed up for eight deputy general managers and 506 for 15 chief accountants. Moreover, 33 applicants are foreigners and 29 are from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

SASAC has, along with officials of 25 enterprises under its administration, conducted serious examination of the qualification of the applicants and selected 412 eligible for written examination.
