Overseas tourist destinations for Chinese reach 69

News from the National Outbound Tourism Working Meeting held on June 28 says that from January to May Chinese citizens made 12.26 million outbound visits, increasing by 9.7 percent year on year.

Revenues from outbound tourism business reached 18.404 billion yuan in 2004, a year-on-year increase of 75.07 percent. However, the overall development of outbound tourism market is still not mature.
