Tibetan antelope of Hoh Xil enters the fastigium of lambing
A little Tibetan antelope born just for several days is looking for food by the Zhuonai Lake of Hoh Xil. This year, the lambing fastigium of Tibetan antelope living near the Zhuonai Lake begins from July 2 and 3. The period will last for less than a week. The Tibetan antelope has a habit of migratory lambing. Approximately, the lambing period of Tibetan antelope in Hoh Xil is from the last ten-day of June to the middle ten-day of July. During the whole lambing period, about 30,000 female Tibetan antelopes go lambing in the hinterland of Hoh Xil, the Zhounai Lake.

New Egyptian ambassador to Iraq kidnapped
The new Egyptian ambassador to Iraq Ihab al-Sharif has been kidnapped in western Baghdad, the Qatar-based al-Jazeera TV channel reported on Sunday, July 3. Ihab al-Sharif, named as the first ambassador to post-war Iraq on June 1, was kidnapped late Saturday, the channel said.

Oil tanker collision polluted sea in Liaoning
The slit on Chinese tank ship "Qiandaoyou One" is obvious after the collision accident near Dalian's Xingang (New Port) in northeast China's Liaoning Province, July 3, 2005. The ship spilled oil after it collided with a foreign flag container vessel about five nautical miles from Xingang (New Port) on Saturday morning. Liaoning provincial maritime rescue center organized emergency rescue work immediately and sent vessels to clean the polluted areas. The rescue operation is still going on.
