Hisense puts color TVs with Hiview chip into production in its 5 bases
font size

On July 2, Hisense color TVs powered by Hiview, the chip independently developed by Hisense, were off the production lines in the company's five major color TV production bases in Qingdao, Liaoning, Guiyang, Zibo and Linyi. This means color TVs with a Chinese chip are available to consumers.

Yu Shumin, President of Hisense Group Corporation, announced that the first 100 color TV sets with "Hiview" would be donated to 30 Hisense Hope Schools in the west of China.
