Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met in Beijing Monday with guests from the Communist Party of Brazil (CPB) and the Communist Party of France (CPF), respectively.
During the meeting, Wang and Renato Rabelo, president of the CPB, had discussions on further cementing the friendly exchanges between the CPC and the CPB to promote the healthy and stable development of the China-Brazil relations. They also exchanged frankly the views on expanding and deepening the bilateral cooperation in international affairs.
During the meeting with Robert Hue, former president of the CPF, Wang said he hoped the CPC and the CPF will improve friendly exchanges with each other so as to push forward the development of the China-France party-to-party and nation-to-nation relations.
Hue said the CPF values the successful experience of the CPC as a ruling party and is ready to join hands with the CPC in a bid to deepen the exchanges between the two parties.
