Chinese legislator meets Philippine guest

Cheng Siwei, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, China's top legislature, met in Beijing on July 4 with a delegation of Philippine council of young political leaders.

The delegation, led by Josefina M. Dela Cruz, governor of Bulacan province, some 30 kilometers north of the Philippine capital Manila, paid the visit to China at the invitation of the Chinese Association for International Understanding.
