NPC vice chairman meets Botswanian guests

Jiang Zhenghua, vice-chairman of the National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee, met in Beijing on July 5 with former Botswanian President Ketumile Masire and his wife.

Jiang briefed the guests about China's economic development and its policies towards Africa. He expressed his hope that China-Botswana and China-Africa traditional friendship can be further strengthened.

Masire expressed his willingness to contribute to Botswana-China and Africa-China friendship and cooperation.
