Taiwan crime suspect repatriated from mainland
font size

A Taiwanese suspected of serious crimes was sent Thursday from south China's Guangdong Province back to Taiwan.

Huang Mingquan, charged with cheating and intimidation in Taiwan, was caught in Chaozhou city in Guangdong province, where he fled to and hid.

The 56-year-old man lived in Taiwan's Tainan County and was general manager of a local food company.

He was caught in a joint campaign by Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao police authorities to crack down on gangdom and cross-regional crimes between China's mainland, Hong Kong and Macao last month.
