Altogether 13.855 million Party members from 801,000 grassroots Party cells took part in the first-stage "keeping the advanced nature" education campaign, which lasted from January to June this year.

The remark was made by Li Jingtian, deputy head of the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, who is in charge of the Party's internal education campaign, at a press conference on the morning of July 7 given by the Information Office of the State Council.
