The Communist Party of China (CPC) wishes to further strengthen the friendly exchanges and cooperation with the Algerian National Liberation Front Party, a senior CPC official said Friday in Beijing.

Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, made the remark during a meeting with a delegation from Algerian National Liberation Front Party headed by Goudjil Salah, member of the Secretariat of the Executive Committee of the party.

During the meeting, Wang explained the principles and stance of the Chinese government on such international issues as United Nations reforms.

Goudjil Salah appreciated the achievements that the Chinese people made in the reform and opening up of the country under the leadership of the CPC . He said the Algerian National Liberation Front Party will continue to expand friendly communications with the CPC in different fields, which will contribute to the development of China-Algeria relations.
