Senior CPC official meets secretary general of South African Communist Party

Liu Yunshan, head of the Department of Publicity of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met Friday with Secretary General Blade Nzimande of the South African Communist Party.

Liu, also a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and a member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, said the two parties have enjoyed friendly relations and the CPC is willing to enhance exchanges and cooperation with the South African Communist Party to promote the development of bilateral ties.

Nzimande said the party-to-party relations are important and his party is ready to exchanged views with the CPC on issues of common concern.
