CPC delegation leaves for three-nation Asian tour

A delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) left Beijing Saturday on a good-will visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), Laos and the Republic of Korea (ROK) at the invitation of Workers' Party of Korea, the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of ROK.

The delegation is led by Xi Jinping, member of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the CPC. Xi is also chairman of the Standing Committee of Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress.
