font size

The China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) launched here Monday a contest for the public to enhance their energy-saving awareness.

Together with other governmental organizations, the CAST organizes a public contest for how to save energy and how to use natural resources in a sustained way.

Organizers said that any contestants could take part in and get test paper in some mainstream newspapers, such as Workers' Daily, China Youth Daily, China Women's Daily, Popular Science News and the People's Liberation Army Daily. They could also surf on the websites www.cpst.net.cn and www.sinotech.org.cn.

Besides the contest, the CAST will also organize other publicity activities for promoting the idea of environmental protection and energy-saving lifestyle.
