Chinese Vice President Zeng Qinghong met in Beijing on July 12 with Hungarian Minister of Defense Juhasz Ferenc.
Zeng said Hungary is one of the countries which forged diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China soon after it was founded, and in recent years, bilateral ties have developed smoothly with frequent contact between the leaders and fruitful cooperation in all fields.
He said China attaches importance to the friendly relations with Hungary, and will make joint efforts to push forward the cooperation between the two countries based on mutual respect, equality, reciprocity and non-interference in each other's internal affairs.
Ferenc said Hungary and China have enjoyed long-term friendship, and the recent frequent contact between the leaders of the two countries has promoted the cooperation in political, economic and cultural areas.
He said Hungary adheres to the one-China policy, and would like to push forward the comprehensive partnership with China.
