NPC vice chairman meets Latvian guests

Cheng Siwei, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress (NPC), met with Dzintars Jaundzeikars, chairman of the Economic, Agricultural and Regional Policy Committee of the Saeima (parliament) of Latvia, in Beijing Monday.

The Latvian guests came here Sunday for a goodwill visit to China at the invitation of the Chinese NPC Environment and Resources Protection Committee.
