Deputy governor of People's Bank of China dismissed from office

Li Ruogu, deputy governor of People's Bank of China, was recently dismissed from office by the State Council.

Li was appointed deputy governor of the People's Bank of China in June 2003 and became member of the Monetary Policy Commission under the People's Bank of China in the same year.

Li was an assistant governor of the People's Bank of China before he became its deputy governor.
