China Association of Automobile Manufacturers released its latest statistics on July 12 showing 2.8152 million units of auto production and 2.7924 million units of auto sales for the first half of the year, increasing by 5.15 percent and 9.35 percent over the same period of last year respectively.

Passenger's vehicles achieved especially outstanding performance with more than 10 percent sales growth. Production of these vehicles reached 1.8517 million units and sales registered 1.843 million units, up 3.28 percent and 10.55 percent year on year.

Commercial vehicles also made good performance from Jan. to June this year with 963,400 units of production and 949,400 units of sales, rising 8.94 percent and 7.09 percent respectively.

Figures also prove in June passenger's vehicles enjoyed better time than they did in the previous month in terms of both production and sales due to manufacturers' aggressive promotion.
