British police have confirmed that the deadly blasts in London were suicide bombings, claiming the attacks as the first incident of suicide attacks in Western Europe.
London police believed four suicide bombers carried out the attacks on London subway trains and a bus last week.
Police have focused on an Egyptian-born chemist who studied in the United States and an 18-year-old Briton of Pakistani descent believed to have set off the bomb aboard a red double-decker bus.
Meanwhile, British media reported that there was possibly another suspect in addition to the four identified. Reports said the fifth suspect arrived in Britain last month and left the country days before the bombings.
Police did not comment on the report.
