Zeng Qinghong attends Party School's ceremony

Zeng Qinghong, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, attended a ceremony of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee to issue certificates to a group of graduates in Beijing on July 15.

Zeng, who is also a member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and president of the Party School, was accompanied by senior Party officials He Guoqiang and Wang Gang.

A total of 426 trainees graduated from the Party School this summer, along with 2,000 trainees from central-level branches of the school, namely, branch schools run by departments directly under the CPC Central Committee, central government departments, departments of the Chinese People's Liberation Army and the branch school of the Commission for Supervision and Management of State-owned Properties under the State Council.

While the trainees were studying in the school, the CPC was implementing the guidelines of the the Sixteenth CPC Congress and the third and fourth sessions of the Sixteenth CPC Central Committee. In the meantime, the party was launching a nationwide campaign to maintain the "advanced nature" of CPC members,which refers to the moral and intellectual superiority which rationalizes their political power.
