Air China became China's first airline company to have extra long range supervision ability, covering Asia, Pacific and Indian Ocean at all time.
With the help of a self-designed operation management system, Air China's supervision network extends from two centers of circles, namely Beijing and Lhasa and even to the North Pole. The network ensured 600 daily flights around the world.
Air China has kept increasing its safety standards, said Li Jiaxiang, president of China National Aviation Holding Company.
Air China flew 392,000 hours in 2003 and 503,000 hours in 2004 and 232,000 in the first half of 2005.
Air China's cargo company, China's only authorized airline company to operate special goods by the International Aviation Organization, also increased its safety record year on year.
