    Death toll of Iraqi bomb attack rises to 90

    The Iraqi government said on Sunday that the death toll of Saturday's suicide bomb attack in Musayyib town, south of Baghdad, has risen to more than 90.

    Bus crash kills 17, injures 37 in Hubei

    A passenger coach, running from Kaixian in southwest China's Chongqing to Guangdong Province, slipped off a mountain highway and crashed into a deep valley in Enshi, Hubei Province July 16, 2005. Seventeen were killed, and 37 were injured, including 17 students aged below 15. The injured are treated in a local hospital and the accident is still under investigation. (newsphoto)

    Canadian teachers seek evidence of Japanese germ warfare in China

    Members of Canadian high school history teachers' delegation lay wreaths and mourn for victims died in plague spot spread by Japanese invaders in Yiwu City of east China's Zhejiang Province, July 15, 2005. The 29-member delegation sought evidence to prove Japan's use of germ warfare in China during World War II in Yiwu and Jinhua cities of Zhejiang from Friday to Saturday. The videoed historical fact of Japan's germ warfare will be filed as teaching reference film for Canada's school history course.

    Iraqi prime minister visits Iran

    Iraqi Prime Minister Ibrahim Jaafari (L) talks with Iranian First Vice-President Mohammad Reza Aref (R) at the Sa'dabad Cultural Complex (Palace of the former Shah) in the north of Tehran, capital of Iran, July 16, 2005. Jaafari is the highest Iraqi official visiting Iran since the downfall of former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.
