CPC delegation leaves for Latin America tour

A delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) left Beijing Sunday on goodwill visits to Chile and Brazil.

The delegation, led by Ma Wenpu, deputy head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, is on the visits as guest of the Socialist Party of Chile and the Labor Party of Brazil.

Ma will also attend the 28th national congress of the People's Progressive Party (PPP) of Guyana from July 30 to 31 on behalf of the CPC at the invitation of the PPP.
