CPC delegation leaves for three Souteast Asian nations

A delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) left Beijing on July 18 on a good-will visit to Singapore at the invitation of the People's Action Party of Singapore.

The delegation is led by Hu Jiayan, deputy secretary of the CPC Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Regional Committee. Hu also serves as secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Regional Committee.

After Singapore, Hu will lead the delegation to attend a conference of the United Malays National Organization (UMNO) in Malaysia on behalf of the CPC.

The CPC delegation will also visit Thailand as guest of the Thai Rak Thai party of Thailand.
