7 died, about 40 hurt in traffic accident southeast of Cairo

No less than seven died and about 40 were hurt in a traffic accident southeast of Cairo on Sunday, Radio Egypt said.

According to the preliminary information, all the traffic accident victims are Egyptians. No Russian citizens were killed or hurt in the accident.

Lethal traffic accidents are rather frequent in Egypt due to the neglect of traffic rules and old vehicles.
