World Bank loan commitments to China reach $38.5 billion

The International Finance News reported on July 18 that by May 30, 2005, the World Bank had made 38.5 billion USD loan commitments to China. The package was composed of 28.3 billion USD of hard loans and 10.2 billion USD of soft loans.

According to the report by the International Finance News, the World Bank is conducting a consultation on its aid strategy to China for the 2006-2010 fiscal year.
