font size

Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. has recently handed in a callback report to the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China, deciding to recall some 2004 and 2005 "Legacy" vehicles of from China.

It is reported that a total of 555 automobiles are to be recalled, including 212 BL9s produced during Feb 12, 2004 to Nov 15, 2004; 193 BLEs produced during Nov 10, 2003 to Dec 3, 2004 and 150 BPEs produced during Nov 14, 2003 to Dec 3, 2004.

The existing defect is that a certain supporting point of the control rod on the back door is not well patched. This makes the control rod unable to return to the original position completely, which leads to the failure of the mechanism on the locks of the back door.
