Some 3,000 national standards effective in service industry

China has promulgated more than 3,000 national standards for the service industry, which have integrated the ISO9000 family.

At the second forum on service quality hosted by China Association of Quality Promotion (CAQP) on July 16, Pu Changcheng, Deputy-Director of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, pledged to adopt the ISO9000 series in the service sector.
