China sells over $2 bln in lottery

China has sold 20.067 billion yuan(2.43 billion US dollars) in lotteries through computer tellers till Sunday, raising 7.023 billion yuan in public welfare funds.

According to the China Welfare Lottery Issue Administrative Center, the sale of computer welfare lotteries in China this year increased by 8.607 billion yuan, or 75 percent over the corresponding period last year.
