New president of Airbus to visit China

Airbus Europe, headquartered in Toulouse, France, announced on July 18 that Gustav Humbert, the newly appointed president and CEO of Airbus would pay a visit to China from July 21 to 23, where he would also take part in the opening ceremony of Airbus (Beijing) Engineering Centre.

Airbus noted that Humbert made his first overseas trip to China within one month of his appointment, which shows the important position China has in Airbus' global strategy.
