NPC vice-chairman meets Vanuatuan guest

China is willing to further develop friendly cooperation relations with Vanuatu, Xu Jialu, vice-chairman of China's National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee, said in Beijing on July 19.

Xu made the remark in a meeting with George Wells, Minister of Internal Affairs of Vanuatu.

Xu said that China appreciates Vanuatu's adherence to the one-China policy, and is willing to make joint efforts with Vanuatu to further develop the bilateral friendly cooperation relations, so as to contribute to maintaining peace and stability of the Asia-Pacific region.
