South Korea's Asiana Airlines, the nation's second-largest carrier, cancelled one of its international flights as its unionized pilots entered the third day of their strike Tuesday.
A Sydney-bound flight scheduled to depart Incheon International Airport at 8 p.m. was cancelled, forcing 280 passengers to take other travel options.
The company said 78 out of its 163 domestic passenger flights were also cancelled due to the walkout.
Asiana grounded most of inland domestic flights except two Seoul-Pusan and two Seoul-Ulsan routes, stranding domestic tourists at airports across the country.
Flights from or to Cheju Island were still in operation as planned.
The airline cancelled all three cargo flights that were to carry export products such as semiconductor, LCD monitors and cell phones to Chicago, Singapore and Hong Kong.
