Two dead, two missing in typhoon attack in Taiwan

According to statistics from a disaster relief center in Taiwan on July 19, typhoon "Haitang" has killed two people and left two missing since it landed on the island.

Statistics from Taiwan agriculture authority show, till midday of July 19, losses incurred by the typhoon had totaled 1,317.27 million new Taiwan dollars (about US$42 million) and farm produce such as rice and banana has been seriously damaged.

Sources say business and schooling resumed in most counties and cities in Taiwan on July 19.
