font size

Chinese Vice-Premier Hui Liangyu met with Jose Gonzalez Espinosa, president of the Dominican Party of Laborers, in Beijing on July 20.

Hui, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, briefed the guest on China's social and economic development after the country adopted the reform and opening-up policy in the late 1970s, voicing the hope that the CPC and Dominican Party of Laborers (DPL) could cherish their traditional friendship and go on extending the good bilateral cooperative ties to the benefit of the people of the two countries.

Espinosa said he hopes that his current visit could further strengthen the relations between the CPC and DPL and help spur the growth of bilateral ties.
