The Communist Party of China (CPC) is ready to further strengthen the friendly exchanges and cooperation with Kazakstan��s political parties, a senior CPC official said in Beijing on July 20.
Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, made the remark during his meeting with Bakytzhah Zhumagulov, acting president of the Otan (Fatherland) Party of Kazakstan.
Wang spoke highly of the relations between China and Kazakstan, adding that China is ready to step up friendly cooperation with the Otan (Fatherland) Party and fully carry out the consensus made by the leaders of the two nations to establish and develop China-Kazakstan strategic partnership.
Zhumagulov said the Otan (Fatherland) Party attaches great importance to the relations with the CPC and is willing to further enhance the exchanges between the two political parties in a bid to push forward bilateral cooperation in various fields.
The two sides also exchanged views on issues of common concern.
