Guyanan PM starts China visit

Prime Minister of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana Samuel Hinds arrived in Beijing Wednesday afternoon for an eight-day working visit to China at the invitation of the Chinese government.

This is Hinds' first visit to China as prime minister. During his stay here, Hinds is scheduled to meet with Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing respectively. State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan will hold talks with him.

Besides Beijing, the Guyanan Prime Minister will also visit east China's Jiangsu Province and Shanghai.
