The Producer Price Index (PPI) for China's industrial products went up 5.2 percent year-on-year, 0.7 percentage points lower than in May, according to the National Bureau of Statistics(NBS).
An NBS report released here Thursday said the purchase price of raw materials, fuel and power jumped up 9 percent year-on-year, 0.9 percentage points lower than that of May.
The PPI for means of production was up 7.2 percent in June compared with the same period last year, leading to an overall increase of 5.3 percentage points in PPI.
The PPI for means of livelihood went down 0.3 percent year-on-year. The PPI for foodstuff, clothes and daily necessities grew 0.6 percent, 0.7 percent and 2.2 percent, respectively, while the PPI of durables declined 3.1 percent.
The PPI for crude oil climbed 32.7 percent over the same period last year, while that for gasoline, kerosene and diesel rose 16.9 percent, 16.1 percent and 13.6 percent, respectively.
The PPI for the sector of coal mining and dressing grew 25.9 percent year-on-year.
