CPPCC chairman highlights research on united front theory

Jia Qinglin, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Friday highlighted the research on the country's united front theory.

Jia gave his point when he met the representatives of China United Front Theory Research Association, who attended the fourth session of the association held in Beijing.

"The research result has greatly enriched China's united front theory, and has become the driving force to the united front undertaking," said Jia. He praised the efforts of the association members in helping the central authority in the regard.

He said that the new leadership of Communist Party of China (CPC) has attached importance to the united front work, and has proposed the new thoughts on the theory.

"The changing situation demanded continuing research on the united front theory, so all related academic organizations should take their responsibility," said Jia.
