China's central bank publicizes closing price rate of Chinese yuan

The People's Bank of China publicized the closing price rate of Chinese yuan Friday.

One US dollar equaled to 8.1111 yuan, one euro equaled to 10.0141 yuan, 100 Japanese yen equaled to 7.3059 yuan and one HK dollar equaled 1.0478 yuan.

The bank announced Thursday to allow its currency, the yuan, to appreciate by a modest 2 percent. So one US dollar equaled to 8.11 yuan.
