Chinese legislator leaves for visits to Italy, Netherlands

A delegation of the Chinese Association for International Understanding (CAIU) headed by a senior Chinese legislator Cheng Siwei departed Monday for good-will visits to Italy and the Netherlands.

Cheng, CAIU's vice president and also vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature, makes the visit at the invitation of the Italian Union of the Chambers of Commerce and the European Chemical Industry Council.
