font size

As learned form the information office of Ministry of Commerce, volume of Chinese high-tech products trade is expanding rapidly. The import and export volume of high-tech products will hopefully reach US$ 400 bln this year.

According to Technology Department of Ministry of Commerce, ratio of high-tech products in China's export will rise from 11 percent in 1999 to approx 30 percent this year. In the first half of 2005, China recorded 4,696 technology import contracts, an increase of 15.5 percent. The value of the contracts increased by 26.4 percent to US$ 8.14 bln, and the technical fee of US$ 5.6 bln accounted for 68.8 percent of the contracts' value.

The concerned departments are making new policies that encourage export of high-tech products. They will vigorously implement measures to expand high-tech products export.
