The delegations of the United States and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) met on Tuesday, the second time in two days, on the sideline of the six-party talks on the Korean Peninsula nuclear issue, sources with the US embassy in Beijing said.

Head of the US delegation Christopher Hill and his DPRK counterpart Kim Kye-Gwan held a 75-minute meeting on Monday afternoon, before the six-party talks formally opened here on Tuesday morning.
